My daughter could not get the car to stop, as she was engaging the break to the floor. She is unsure if when she turned cruise control was set, but either way the brake should have turned it off. Then when the pole was hit, all the airbags went off except the passenger lower airbag. I was the passenger and i have a hurt ankle, knee, and hip. When at a stop when going to accelerate to cross an intersection the car goes but suddenly feels as if it looses power really quick and slows down as if my foot is not on the gas and then there's a hard kick (or jerk) that the car does and it revs up as if it didn't slow down on its own and it goes. This has happened when trying to accelerate from a complete stop and while trying to gain speed on the highway.
