I was in line at tim horton's, i had ordered, but not yet paid. I had my foot on the brake (car was stationary), and the as the car in front of me moved up, i depressed the brake to roll the car forward. The car began accelerating on it's own. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a tow yard. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
