The rear brake pads do not sweep the entire surface of the rear rotors. Nearly 25% of the rear rotor is not in contact with the rear brake pads. This diminishes braking force and makes the rear rotor incompatible with currently available replacement pads. This defect is visually apparent when the car is stationary.
