While driving home from work, my transmission started to slip/skip and started to shift very roughly from that point. After a few visits to my dealer and after they kept my car for a week, it was then determined that the valve body inside the transmission needed replaced, and chrysler will not give rental cars out due to the vehicle still being drivable. Operating my vehicle with seatbelts employed, i was struck offset head-on from my left at the drivers front headlight from an oncoming vehicle who's driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic, making a left turn, crossing into my lane causing the collision and subsequent events. My vehicles engine light was on while i was taking it to get inspected. Aaa ran a test to find out as to why the engine light was on. The diagnostics should a problem with the plenum, air intake valve and the car needed a reflash or update in the cars computer.
